Humans have always relied on chemistry to create, shape and control things around them. The most important components of the human body are found in the body's cells, which have their own unique chemical composition. It is through our understanding of the chemistry of the cells that we can begin to gain insight into the reasons for our health and well being.As we understand the chemistry of our body's cells, we can begin to understand how to improve our health and well being. The body's cells are primarily responsible for carrying out the various functions required to maintain your health and well being. Once these bodies' functions are carried out, the second most important part of the body is your vital organs. Understanding how to perform your daily tasks and the health of your vital organs is a useful tool in achieving your goals for both physical an d mental well being.Our bodies contain both physical and mental properties that affect our emotional state and well being. Whilst we are alive our body does not maintain a constant level of energy, nor does it produce the optimal levels of heat and cold as it did before we were born. Your body's well being depends on the chemical makeup of the cells, the amount of oxygen supplied by the body, the levels of glucose in the blood, the amount of sodium and potassium the body contains, the temperature of the environment and many other factors. This is why we are able to live such an active and pleasurable life.When you perform physical activities, the body requires a certain amount of energy. The reason for this is that the more we move our body the more energy we require. As the blood vessels and cells become damaged, the heart is forced to pump more blood to the cells to repair it. This increase in demand for oxygen causes the brain to release chemicals called catecholamines, which is the primary hormone that affects our state of mind. There are many mental states that the brain and mind can be in at the same time. These are: deep sleep, light sleep, hyperactive state, relaxed state, dreaming state, hallucination, suspended animation, lethargic state, exhaustion and stress. The brain is the master organ of the human body, without which the body cannot exist. To understand the physical property chemistry of the brain, we must consider that it is composed of more than one million nerve cells, each having its own chemical composition.This physical property chemistry is then used to show the links between brain activity and cell body chemistry. When the brain is in a relaxed state, it is able to regulate the levels of glucose in the blood. Glucose is one of the primary hormones produced by the brain. The brain sends signals to the body's cells that the levels of glucose are low, so they break down and use the amino acids that the brain has stored in the cells to prov ide the necessary fuel for the brain.The brain is able to control your mood and often causes you to feel better or more in control of your emotions. There are many types of chemicals that the brain uses to communicate with the body. For example, the levels of serotonin are controlled by the brain and affect the different feelings that you experience when you are happy or sad.During sleep, the brain is in a relaxed state and the chemicals are released to help you relax. The release of serotonin is necessary to help reduce stress and the releasing of dopamine makes you feel good. They also influence the sexual response. In some cases, when there is a lack of sleep, the levels of dopamine and serotonin in the brain are affected, and this is referred to as a manic episode. Physical property chemistry is often referred to as the science of biology.
